If you’re going to start picking yourself up from the bottom of the table and a dreadful start to the season, a bonus-point win against the league leaders is as good a place as any to do it.
It was 8-7 at halftime [sounds familiar… – Ed.] thanks to a mammoth amount of goal-line pressure at the end of the half. Rams having a player sent off less than ten minutes into the second half did them no favours and Sale duly turned the screw (although they left it a bit late before Conor Doc scored the bonus-point try).
